Our awesome staff team is small but mighty! They share decades of experience in environmental education, science communication, animal training, teambuilding, and leadership, but more importantly they share a love for teaching about our incredible, natural world.

Jenn Bock
Program Director

As our fearless leader, Jenn really does it all! She is truly the glue that holds this program together, whether she’s facilitating the volunteer experience, overseeing bird training, working with the university administration, or building partnerships in the education community.

Jenn first joined Wild Ontario’s precursor – the Wild Bird Clinic Education Program – in 2006 as a volunteer. When it was at risk of closure, she took the reins and guided the program through a complete rebuild. The result is the Wild Ontario that you see today, a program that would not exist if not for her incredible perseverance and dedication!

Sally Cheung
Education Coordinator

Sally joined the Wild Ontario volunteer program in 2015, and during the ensuing six years she got a degree in Wildlife Biology and racked up a diverse range of experience in animal care and training, and environmental education. In 2021 she became an Education Intern with Wild Ontario, and in 2023 she took on the role of Education Coordinator.

Sally’s days are filled with teaching, whether she’s fascinating first graders with fantastic raptor facts, or mentoring volunteers to become better trainers and educators. Her drive for spreading love and concern for nature makes her the perfect person to head up our education programs.
