Our Birds

Our program began with a one-winged vulture named Socrates, and our non-releasable birds are still the focus today. These animals come to us because of run-ins with people, which leave them unable to survive in the wild. They act as ambassadors for their species: engaging audiences, providing a springboard for education, and encouraging interest in conservation and stewardship. Click their pictures below for more information and photos.
